Residential Building
I was actively involved in coordinating the structural and spatial adjustments necessitated by the regulatory constraints. The setback requirements led to two major recessions in the building’s design—at the second and 16th floors. These recessions impacted the column alignment and required structural adjustments at B1 and the third floor to maintain logical and efficient floor layouts. To address these challenges, I worked closely with structural engineers and MEP consultants to ensure that the adjustments in column positions were seamlessly integrated. This included revising piping layouts, rebar configurations, and other structural details to achieve a well-coordinated and functional design.
This collaborative process ensured that the final layout met both regulatory and structural requirements without compromising usability or spatial efficiency. The project demonstrated the importance of interdisciplinary teamwork in addressing complex architectural and engineering challenges, resulting in a high-rise building that aligns with the urban regeneration vision while adhering to stringent building codes.
