Medical Building
 This project is a six-story facility located on the Southern National Taiwan University campus, designed to address the growing challenges of elder care. The building serves as a research center dedicated to exploring scientific advancements in elder-care practices and solutions. Positioned on a currently vacant site, the structure is designed to integrate seamlessly with future campus developments, ensuring long-term functionality and adaptability.

I was responsible for the project's early-stage planning and documentation. This included creating the design-build tender specifications, the campus masterplan report, and the tender documentation. My role involved interviewing stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and consolidating them into a cohesive project brief. In addition to offices for geriatric medicine research, the building required two laboratories—one dry and one wet—which marked my first experience working on a laboratory project. I collaborated with specialists to organize spatial requirements and define MEP systems to support the facility's needs.

The ground floor was envisioned as a demonstration space for elder day-care activities, requiring me to research and understand the unique spatial needs for daily elder-care operations. This included the configuration of public and care spaces to ensure functionality and comfort for users. After finalizing the tender documentation and aligning the project with the needs of the university and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, we successfully secured approval to proceed with construction. This project not only deepened my understanding of elder-care spatial planning but also honed my skills in managing complex client requirements and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
